The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has launched the Knowledge e-Club Portal as a part of a workshop recently held by the Strategy and Performance Development Department.
Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, emphasised the significant attention dedicated by the police leadership to knowledge management, due to its instrumental role in boosting staff performance and efficiency.
He also pointed out the leadership's commitment to linking this knowledge with modern technology and social media, with the aim of promoting better participation and communication between the leadership, departments and employees. He said that the portal will facilitate the spread of knowledge and information via the internet, providing e-services to employees as well as linking with other e-systems.
The launch was attended by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director-General of Finance and Services, Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Under-Secretary of Resources and Support Services, Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director-General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, Brigadier Obeid Salem Rashid Ali Al Ketbi, Director-General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police, Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director-General at the Ministry of Interior, and a number of senior officers.
Captain Ashayma' Taleb Hussein, Chief of the e-Club Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department, gave a presentation showcasing the objectives and evolution of the Knowledge e-Club, as well as its different portals, services and statistics.
