William Masters III, son of the late sex researcher William Masters, is charged with allegedly exposing himself to undercover officers, Michigan police say. The New York Post said Masters, 60, who lives in the Hamptons, was arrested on similar charges last May in New York's Central Park. The Emmy-winning TV News producer was arrested Saturday afternoon near his vacation home in the Pointe aux Barques community in Michigan, the newspaper said. Masters allegedly yelled at two passing female kayakers to get their attention. "He was completely nude and making obscene gestures," police were quoted as saying. Masters was charged with indecent exposure and spent three days in jail. Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson said the sting was set-up after four similar incidents were reported over the past four weeks. Masters is scheduled to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court next month for a similar incident that allegedly occurred May 9 in Central Park. He agreed to perform community service in exchange for the charges in the Central Park case being dismissed, the newspaper said. Masters' father was known for his ground-breaking work in human sexuality with colleague Virginia E. Johnson.
