Journalist and TV host Mostafa Bakri said that an army of 1500-3000 terrorists has been formed in the western region of the Egyptian borders with Libya under the name "Egyptian Free Army."\ The army is mostly consisted of Egyptians who were brought from abroad with the help of the United States, Qatar and Turkey, Bakri added during his TV show on Sada el-Balad satellite channel on Thursday. The army comes as part of a systematic plan in a bid to imitate the Syrian Free Army which seeks to topple the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and divide Syria, Bakri pointed out. Bakri noted that Qatar's intelligence chief made several visits to the camps of the army which were established by the US, Qatar, and Turkey with the help of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaida in Libya. The Qatari official was briefed on the financial and logistic needs of the camps as a prelude to launch attacks on Egypt, Bakri said. He revealed that the Egyptian army has taken all measures to step up security on the borders with Libya and has been given orders to strike hard against any attempted hostile movements against the homeland.
