U.S. first lady Michelle Obama is to make her second guest appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Comedy Central said Wednesday. She is to appear on Tuesday's edition of the program to discuss her first book, "American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America." The book "invites readers inside the White House Kitchen Garden and offers an unprecedented look at every season of the garden's growth, from the first planting to the latest harvest," a synopsis said. "The first lady also shares the inspiring stories of Americans from all walks of life who are actively engaged in community, school, and urban gardens across the country, and who have come together to build a healthier future for our nation's children and families." Proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit the National Park Foundation. Funds will go toward the continued care of the White House garden, as well as to programs promoting gardening, healthy eating and opportunities for young people to experience the outdoors to learn, discover and lead healthy active lives, Comedy Central said in a release.
