Cairo - Itar-Tass

Three staff members of Sky News Arabia TV channel based in Abu Dhabi went missing in Syria. Reporting on Thursday about this, the TV channel urged all parties who may be involved in the incident, to facilitate the return reporter Isaac Mostar (native of Mauritania), cameraman Samir Kassab (native of Lebanon) and their Syrian their driver, whose name was not mentioned at the request of his family, to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. According to the head of television Nart Bowran, the journalistic team was sent to northern Syria to cover the humanitarian aspects of the armed conflict that lasts for two and a half years. Presumably, the TV staff went missing near the city of Aleppo. Nart Bowran called the northern regions of Syria “presently the most dangerous places in the world for journalists”. In recent months, dozens of media employees — both Syrian and foreign — died, were injured or kidnapped there.
