Abdelbari Atwan, one of the Arab world's most prolific journalists, is set to hold a book-signing of his autobiography, "A Country of Words: The Life of Abdel Bari Atwan: A Palestinian Journey from the Refugee Camp to the Front Page". The Arabic Club in Great Britain and the Palestinian Association in the UK have sent an open invite to meet Atwan at the Polish Centre, in London's Hammersmith area. The book-signing by Atwan will be held on June 14, and a prior discussion with the journalist will be chaired by Mohammed Kawas. Abdelbari Atwan is the editor-in chief of the London-based pan-Arab newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi. Born one of 11 children in a Gaza refugee camp, he is a prominent Palestinian activist and held numerous positions across reputed Arab news media, until he took over as the head of Al-Quds Al-Arabi in 1989.
