Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) and Grupo Vocento are to launch Paramount Channel, a new free TV channel on Spain's DTT, in April. Vocento has already rented space on DTT radio Disney and MTV, also owned by Viacom. Paramount Channel's programming will be devoted to film for 24 hours a day, including both classic and contemporary movies. The channel is aimed at all ages and demographic targets, and will include drama, comedy, action, intrigue, animation, horror and classic cinema. In the coming months, Paramount Channel VIMN launch in other markets. The channel will be represented in Spain by BE VIACOM, the international marketing division of Viacom brands.
