Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah arrived here Sunday ahead of the 14th session of Gulf News Agencies, slated for tomorrow at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat Headquarters. The KUNA chairman was greeted upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport by the Ambassador of Kuwait to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, KUNA Riyadh Office Director Abderrazaq Al-Hzami, and senior GCC Secretariat officials. The one-day meeting will discuss the 2010-2020 joint media strategy, which was approved in the 31st summit in Abu Dhabi last year. The media strategy is in harmony with the resolution of the GCC Information Ministers in their 18th meeting in Kuwait, in 2009, which considered the joint framework essential for more active and influential media action committees and for stronger cooperation. The Kuwaiti delegation includes among its members the head of the International Relations Department a t KUNA Isam Al-Rwayyih.(end) ay.wsa KUNA 181240 Sep 11NNNN
