Belfast - Arabstoday

Northern Ireland's biggest selling daily paper the Belfast Telegraph is to drop its late edition and begin printing in the morning only. The Belfast Telegraph started printing a morning edition as well as an evening one in 2005. Today Mark Simpson, Ireland correspondent for BBC News, said on Twitter that the decision to move to morning only printing marked the "end of an era." Journalism.co.uk understands that no publishing jobs are expected to be lost as a result of these changes. Richard McClean, deputy chief executive of INM, said the paper's publishing focus "remains firmly rooted in the quality of editorial content, which provides unparalleled breadth and depth through news analysis. "With the final edition available earlier we are committed to maintaining the growth of our strong multi-platform readership and to continuing our unrivalled service to our readers."
