The Permanent Committee of the Arab Media expressed on Monday solidarity with Egypt in face of terrorism.
Addressing the 89th session of the committee, Assistant Secretary General for the Arab League Haifaa Abu Ghazalah expressed heartfelt condolences to the Egyptian people and government over the victims of the terrorist attack that hit North Sinai on Friday.

The Arab committee began its meetings by observing one minute of silence in morning of Assistant Secretary General for the Arab League Ahmed ben Helli, who died on Sunday in Canada where he was receiving medical treatment.
