The Anadolu Agency's dynamism in its growth strategy is impressive and intriguing, says Associated Press CEO Gary Pruitt in a New York meeting with Anadolu Agency (AA) Director General and Chairman of the Board Kemal Ozturk. After the inauguration of the agency's New York office, as part of its "Centennial Vision" to become one of the top five agencies in the world by 2020. AA Director General and Chairman of the Board Kemal Ozturk visited the headquarters of Associated Press (AP), one of the most prominent and influential news agencies worldwide. After visiting AP's editor's desk together with AA Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief Omer Eksi, Deputy Director General Cagatay Culcuoglu and board member Nihat Erdogmus, Ozturk met AP President & CEO Gary Pruitt to discuss future prospects of cooperation between two agencies. In this extensive consultation meeting, a future agreement plan for 2014 was discussed. Emphasizing that his agency follows AA closely, Pruitt said he found Anadolu Agency's dynamism in its growth strategy impressive, the mystery behind this is intriguing. Ozturk also visited AP's newsroom and the chief editors to get detailed information about AP`s daily output of news, as well as video and photo footage.
