75 years later and the Morgan 4/4 has barely shown any signs of age. Nor will it ever. There are few cars that can make this claim, but the Morgan 4/4 certainly can. Since it first began production in 1936, the Morgan 4/4 hasn't changed all that much.In fact, with the exception of true Morgan aficionados, it's nearly impossible to spot even the slightest changes. That's because there are so few. And now the Worcestershire-based boutique automaker is paying a proper tribute to the 4/4 by releasing this new limited anniversary edition. It's powered by a 2.0-liter inline four engine that propels it from 0 to 62 mph in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 118 mph. Total weight comes to just a little over 2,000 pounds. The exterior features a choice of three flat paint colors (Sport Black, Sport Red or Old English White), a matte black stripe with a '4/4 75th' graphic, black painted 15-inch wire wheels (with a matching spare, of course), and round door mirrors and matching polished door handles. The interior has black leather with perforated leather center pleats on the seats, a tawny ash polished dashboard with a cargo-net storage area, and a unique wood trim steering wheel.Pricing starts at £38,750, which includes VAT. As usual with all Morgans, there will likely be a huge demand, with customers often on the wait list for their car for over a year.So here's to another 75 years - and we doubt much will change even then.
