Previewing an upcoming four-door coupe, the Concept Style Coupe will be unveiled this week in LA. Just a few days before making its world premiere at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, images of the Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe have been leaked online. The design concept is meant to preview an upcoming four-door coupe, which is expected to get the name the CLC or CLA class and slot beneath the CLS. It further evolves the F800 Style Concept revealed two years ago as well as the next-generation B-Class, and the coupe-styled compact sedan will share a FWD platform with the new A- and B-classes.An AMG-tuned model with AWD and 300hp could also be in the works, while the base model will feature a 211hp four-cylinder turbocharged engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. There are no official details to speak of, but we know that a similar concept will debut in LA at the Transmission LA: AV CLUB festival hosted by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). By revealing the car at such an event in addition to a major auto show, Mercedes should earn itself a fair amount of art world street cred and attract the type of people that will be attending the festival, which runs from April 20 to May 6. More details and live pictures are sure to come soon.
