Toyota finally realized with the new generation of good-looking Korean hatchbacks out there, no one will give a second look at their dull and boring small cars. So they decided to revamp the design language, as admitted by one of the senior officials, and make more interesting cars. Here’s their take on the Auris, and the changes are staggering. Leaked through a Japanese brochure apparently, the first pictures of the 2013 Auris show substantial differences over the current model. It certainly isn’t as boring as the one we have now, but it’s not exactly a looker either. The car features a large air intake at front like a wide mouth, sharp and aggressive angles for the headlights and the grille, and a side profile and taillights that look suspiciously like those of the new Hyundai i30. The interior too gets a new look, but looking at the pictures it seems, well, basic. I mean those green LCDs, they belong to the previous century.
