Following on from the award presented to Suzuki from Carbuyer.co.uk as the ‘Best Hot Hatchback for 2012’, Suzuki has announced that the Swift Sport has now been voted as the top rated car in its latest review of 30 Sports car models on sale also published this week in Auto Express magazine. The Swift Sport was the only car to score 5 out of a possible 5 overall, with the judges all agreeing that the latest model combines agile and entertaining handling, a low kerb weight and sparkling performance all at a very affordable price. The performance flagship of the Swift range was comprehensively judged by the editorial team and was the clear winner against very strong direct competition as well as premium sports cars costing four times as much to buy, and at least three that are firmly in the supercar category. The Swift Sport is available for £13,499 with a high standard equipment specification which includes seven airbags, auto air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, rear privacy glass, 17 inch alloy wheels and metallic paint finish. HID Projector headlamps for both low and high beam are also fitted as standard – a safety feature either not available or listed as a cost option amongst all of its direct competitors. Dale Wyatt, Sales and Marketing Director, Suzuki GB PLC, comments: “We are of course really pleased with the results of this comprehensive review by Carbuyer.co.uk. It reinforces the message to our customers that Suzuki offers a great value and fun to drive Swift Sport with high standard specification, lower emissions and even better fuel consumption than before.” For buyers looking for a low deposit and low monthly payments; Swift Sport is now included in Suzuki’s popular PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) scheme until the end of September. All that is required is a deposit of £1,335 followed by 42 monthly payments of £239 with an optional final payment to keep the car at the end of the agreement. From motorin
