Renault has reportedly signed a deal with the Algerian Interior Minister to provide the German company with thousands of ambulance vehicles of the type 2 × 4. The value of the deal could exceed 6.8 billion Dinars. Renault Algeria is reportedly the best selling manufacturing car company in the Algerian market. The deal reportedly includes several conditions that were imposed by Interior Minister Daho Ould Kablia. The first condition supposedly says that the duration of delivery must not exceed 18 months, while the second condition guaranteed after sales services up to 36 months. The car dealers accredited in Algeria did not work under these conditions before, as the after sales service warranty was until 24 months for 1000 kilometres. Renault received this deal from a dozen of authorised car dealers in Algeria, especially after the country witnessed a sharp struggle between different European brands, but Renault managed to win the battle. According to sources, the concern by many customers is the quality of the vehicle. However, despite this, the car plant has managed to be ahead of all other car dealers.
