Nissan has announced the launch of its new 2017 Patrol V6 which makes its global debut in the Middle East in September 2016 in complement to the current Patrol V8 lineup while offering the same levels of prestige to a broader customer base in the market.
“The new Patrol V6 complements the legendary Patrol V8 which is considered one of the most powerful, spacious and popular SUVs in the Middle East,” said Samir Cherfan, managing director of Nissan Middle East.
“Our Nissan Patrol business has expanded close to 4 times from FY11 to FY15, and with the introduction of the Patrol V6 we aim to grow by 20 percent over the next 2 years.
“Specifically designed and built for the demands of the region while taking into account increasing consumer appeal for more fuel efficient, practical, full-sized SUVs, the Patrol V6 still retains the high levels of power and prestige that the legendary Patrol is famous for.”
• Goodyear Middle East and Africa (MEA) and Rashed Abdul Rahman AlRashed & Sons Group have announced the opening of the first ever Goodyear TruckForce Service Center in Saudi Arabia.
Located on the highway connecting Riyadh and Dammam, the Goodyear TruckForce Service Center offers a range of services and solutions for both trucks and passenger cars in a state-of-the-art space that can serve up to four trucks and five cars simultaneously.
The center will provide a premium quality truck tire services, including tire change, repair, balancing, truck tire tuber repair, alignment, oil and battery change and recharge.

The vehicle can accelerate in from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 km (electronically limited) thanks to the newly developed M performance TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 265 kW/360 bhp at between 5,800 and 6,000 rpm from its three-liter capacity and provide a maximum torque of 465 Nm.
