Al Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor for Lexus in the UAE, has confirmed that all 2014 models with its full range of sedans and SUV vehicles are available at its showrooms. The new 2014 models boast a number of changes that range from mechanical improvements such as new transmissions, to styling enhancements in the exterior design, said a statement. The 2014 GX model gets the signature Lexus spindle-grille for a more distinctive appearance, and the change is also functional, with the addition of LEDs for the headlamps, daytime running lights and foglamps. The new LX features a unique Sport edition creating a distinct look for the luxury SUV, with front and rear bumper spoilers and fog lamp bezel, complementing Lexus spindle grille, the signature front fascia that represents the new face of Lexus. The 2014 GS features a new eight-speed automatic transmission offering quicker shifts, new interior and exterior colours with styling enhancements reflecting the brand’s future design philosophy as featured in all 2014 Lexus line-up. With the recently launched new generation Lexus IS, every aspect of the vehicle has been engineered with a renewed focus on engaging performance, agile handling, accurate response to driver input and highly communicative feedback. “At Lexus, our most important stakeholder is our customer, and with the introduction of a wider range of features, interior and exterior colors, we aim to meet the diverse tastes of Lexus customers in the UAE,” said Saud Abbasi, general manager of Al-Futtaim Motors – Lexus. In conjunction with the arrival of the new Lexus models, a four-year 1.99 per cent* interest rate is now available on all 2014 vehicles, across all Al-Futtaim Motors – Lexus showrooms in the UAE, he said.
