Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, has handed over a fleet of 350 new Toyota vehicles to Dubai Municipality. The agreement included 154 RAV4, 119 Hilux, 58 Corolla and 19 Coaster buses, increasing Al-Futtaim's share in Dubai Municipality’s fleet by 30 per cent. The vehicles will be utilised by Dubai Municipality’s engineers and staff for the completion of the daily tasks serving the community. Service contracts were also part of the deal. The new cars were delivered to Dubai Municipality during a special ceremony attended by Mr. Humaid Saeed Almarri, Director of Transportation Department, Jon Williams, Managing Director Al-Futtaim Motors and a number of senior officials from both organizations. Jon Williams, managing director of Al-Futtaim Motors, said: “We are proud to provide our partners with reliable transportation and total vehicle solutions, which include service contracts and the application of any vehicle modifications required. “We would like to thank Dubai Municipality for giving us the opportunity to be their long-term transportation partner.” Humaid Saeed Almarri, director of Transportation Department, said: “The delivery of these brand new vehicles supports Dubai’s constant endeavour to provide high quality services to residents and visitors alike.
