Snowfall on southern hilly areas forecast in Jordan

Very cold weather conditions are expected across the Kingdom with heavy rainfall and snow showers on the southern hilly areas, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The snowstorm, which is currently affecting the Kingdom, is expected to taper off in the evening hours and tomorrow, but still there will remain a chance for scattered shower.
The JMD also warned against frost formation across the Kingdom.
Maximum temperatures in Amman for today are expected to reach a high of 5 degrees Celsius and a low of -3.
