The blizzard that hit the Kingdom over the past two days will taper off as of today, but the weather will remain chilly with a chance for occasional showers, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
Snowfall is expected over hilly areas in the southern parts of the Kingdom, the department said, while warning of frost formation in most parts of the country.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected Sunday and Monday, but freezing weather will continue in most parts of the Kingdom.
Temperatures in Amman for today are expected to reach a high of 2C, dropping to -1 at night.
