The Alexandria Port Authority shut down on Friday the Alexandria and Dakheila ports due to bad weather conditions, triggered by wind speeds and high waves in the Mediterranean Sea.
Port Authority spokesman Reda El-Ghandour said, "The two ports were closed to prevent ships from colliding with each other or with the ports’ docks."
