The Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University organized a symposium on wind energy under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed al Qenawi, president of the University.
The symposium is titled "Educational program on wind energy".
Dr. Mohamed al Sharqawi, professors at the Faculty of Engineering in Washington University delivered a lecture during the gathering.
The symposium tackled a number of topics, including developing alternative energy resources that can be relied upon and the importance of wind energy.
It was attended by a large number of professors and academic researchers from 18 Egyptian government universities, four private Egyptian universities, eight Arab and European universities, and eight think-tanks, in addition to representatives for Egypt's Electricity Ministry.
