Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) Vice Chief Executive Officer for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Sadqi and Vice CEO of Planning and Projects Ibrahim Abdullah Al Kaabi on receiving the Medal of Excellence of the first class, conferred by His Majesty the King during a ceremony held on the occasion of the National Day celebrations.
The minister congratulated them, and wished them success in their lives to serve Bahrain under their wise leadership and appreciated their sincere efforts, which contributed to achieving the honour.
Dr. Mirza thanked His Majesty and the leadership for honouring all those who deserve the medal.
The two officials expressed their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mirza for his congratulations and praised his support. They said their efforts for the good of the country will not stop at all and they would always be ready to serve the electricity and water sector.
Mr. Sadqi has been working for at the EWA for 38 years and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Houston in Texas and an MBA from Strathclyde University in Scotland. He has held many positions in in the production and transmission of electricity and water and finance.
Mr. Al Kaabi has been with the EWA for the past 32 years and has a BSc in engineering, as well as a mechanical and master's degree in executive management. He has held several positions in the fields of production, transport and planning and the enterprise sector.
