Shaikh Mohammed’s initiative is aimed at consolidating the spirit of unionism and love for the country. Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash also planted a ‘Union Tree’ in the courtyard of the Department of Inspection’s building in Khalifa A district in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by the assistant undersecretaries, directors of departments and a number of employees of the Ministry of Labour. Commenting on the occasion, Ghobash said love of and allegiance to the country dictate self-denial and continuous work to preserve the country led by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In Al Ain, employees of the National Media Council (NMC) office also planted a ‘Union Tree’ at the office premises.
