The terrorist blast which targeted the oil pipeline near the village of Buri has damaged 16 houses.
Three appointed contractors started on November 14 revamping four damaged houses. The owners of the remaining 12 premises have yet to sign the forms for maintenance work to start.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister gave directives to revamp the damaged houses.
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf announced results of the technical assessment as he visited the village of Buri to assess the progress of maintenance work.
He was accompanied by MP. Dr. Majid Al-Majid, Northern Governor Ali Al-Asfoor, Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Raed Al-Salah and offer ministry officials.
The minister inspected the progress of work on the damaged houses and gave directives to complete the required maintenance as planned, paying tribute to the wise leadership for its keenness on citizens' security and well-being.
