Minister of Environment Khalid Fahmy arrived in Assuit Friday to follow up the leakage of an oil spill in the Nile River.
The minister, accompanied by head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company and senior officials, inspected the spot of the leak and reviewed plans set to contain effects away from the citizens.
Meantime, eight drinking water stations were temporally put out of order until the cleaning measures are finished.
