Fuudis, a new concept in the Buenos Aires dining scene, combines live artistic performances, tours of the city and innovative culinary experiences. The idea behind Fuudis, where diners eat one course at three different restaurants in a given neighbourhood, is to try interesting food in unusual settings and to get to know new people and places. The founders, Australian Anne Reynolds and Argentinean Marina Ponzi, make a point to visit lesser-known establishments and have forged strong relationships with restaurant owners to create an engaging atmosphere for participants. Currently Fuudis offers tours in Palermo Chico, Palermo Hollywood, San Telmo and Recoleta, with Villa Crespo coming soon. Fuudis also curates themed dinners in collaboration with a wide range of artists. These events are held in in selected "art spaces", where a three-course meal is paired with art and music performances. The location and menu of the dinner is only revealed on the day of the event. The tours cost between 200 to 220 Argentinean pesos per person (depending on the neighbourhood), while the price of the themed dinners depends on the location and the chef. Check the Fuudis website for upcoming events.
