Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts recently announced the opening of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The 319-room property offers luxury and sophistication. John T A Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands, Hilton Worldwide, said: “The increasing number of international arrivals into Dubai and growing aspiration of visitors has created a demand which we can readily satisfy with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.” The property showcases six restaurants and bars including the New York inspired Social by Heinz Beck. The hotel also features Lao the south-east Asian contemporary dining; Mezzerie – arabesque dining; Palm Avenue a garden venue and Serafina, a Venetian offering. The recreational features of the property include a tennis court and a full range of water sports. The hotel also offers a 200-meter private beach and two temperature-controlled outdoor pools.
