Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed to manage a new luxury high-rise hotel in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Scheduled to open in 2015, the Rosewood Phnom Penh will occupy the top 14 floors of the 188-meter-high, 39-storey Vattanac Capital Tower One. The tower will also include offices and Cambodia’s first luxury retail mall. Upon completion, the hotel will offer 148 rooms and suites, along with 27 serviced residences. F&B options will include three restaurants, a lobby lounge and a sky bar on a cantilevered terrace, while the hotel will also feature a spa with five treatment rooms, a 20-metre swimming pool on the 33rd floor and a fitness centre. MICE facilities will include a residential-style function space and several meeting rooms. Rosewood Phnom Penh becomes the latest addition to Rosewood’s fast-expanding Asian portfolio. The luxury hotel brand has already opened in Beijing, and also plans to launch in Beijing, Chongqing, Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta and Bali. Source: Travel Daily
