Hilton Hotels has opened its second hotel in Nanjing, China. Hilton Nanjing Riverside, the second Hilton property to open in Nanjing in less than a month, is located on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River – the longest river in Asia. It is just seven kilometers from the Central Business District and 45 kilometers from the Nanjing Lukou International Airport. The hotel features a contemporary style with 411 guest rooms and suites, many of which have a private balcony with Yangtze River views, bathrooms and walk-in closets, along with generous work spaces and high-speed internet access. Hilton Nanjing Riverside also boasts conference and event facilities, with 16 versatile meeting rooms and a unique oval-shaped 1,100-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom. There is also a business centre and the convenience of wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Recreational facilities include a health club, an indoor swimming pool and an on-site spa with six treatment rooms. Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotel & Resorts, said: “With panoramic views over the Yangtze River and extensively landscaped grounds, this city hotel also has a unique urban-resort feel to it, which adds another dimension to the signature Hilton hospitality that guests familiar with our brand have come to recognize and expect.” Hilton Nanjing Riverside becomes the 13th Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in China, hot on the heels of the Hilton Nanjing which opened on November 16th 2011.
