The Four Seasons hotel brand continues its expansion in China with the opening of its first property in Beijing. The opening is scheduled for September 28. Located in the Lingmahe area of the Central Business District, the Four Seasons Beijing will be the 88th property of the brand worldwide. The hotel features 247 guest rooms and 66 suites, two restaurants, three lounges including a tea garden and eight private dining rooms. The hotel facilities include 3,250 square meters (35,000 square feet) of event space including a 900 square meter (9,700 square feet) ballroom. The hotel also has an executive lounge on the 26th floor with panoramic views on the city. The hotel's spa offers traditional Chinese and rejuvenating treatments in 11 rooms, a 20m indoor pool on the 6th floor and a 24-hour gym. The health club encompasses 117 square meters (1,259 square feet) of dedicated workout space. The hotel is taking reservations from October 10, rates go from $380 per night for a double room. As part of the hotel's expansion in China, early this month the Four Seasons opened its second location in Shanghai, the Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, offering 172 guestrooms and 15 suites. The Four Seasons also opened its first property in Guangzhou this summer. The Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has a total of 302 guest rooms and 42 suites.
