The British Fashion Council has announced the ten Rock Vault designers who will showcase SS14 collections in the Designer Showrooms during London Fashion Week (13-17 September). The brands selected to take part include previous recipients: Alice Cicolini, Fernando Jorge, Hannah Martin, Imogen Belfield, Jo Hayes Ward, Melanie Georgacopoulos, Tomasz Donocik and Yunus & Eliza. Joining them this season is Jacqueline Cullen, who specialises in contemporary Whitby jet jewellery and Ornella Iannuzzi (pictured above), whose work is characterised by the composition of colours and textures. Following on from the success of last season, seven of the Rock Vault designers were given the opportunity to showcase collections at Couture, Las Vegas. The British jewellers presented within the Stephen Webster ballroom to US press and buyers during Couture’s five-day showcase. The BFC Rock Vault, now in its fourth season, is a showcasing initiative developed to nurture creative, fine jewellery talent based in London and to give designers the opportunity to further develop their businesses and increase exposure among UK and international media and retailers.
