Talent scout and founder of Fashion East, Lulu Kennedy (MBE), has announced that she will be talking with her designer prodigies in a panel event at this year’s Fashion in Leeds. Lulu Kennedy’s innovative talent incubator Fashion East was founded in 2000. The organisation seeks out and nurtures UK-based fashion talent through those crucial early steps into the industry. It has scouted some of the most celebrated and avant-garde designers, from Gareth Pugh and Meadham Kirchoff to Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland, Roksanda Ilincic and many more.
Fashion in Leeds will deliver a series of high profile events lasting from Saturday 28 April - Sunday 6 May, as part of the Leeds International Festival (28 April – 12 May). This year’s events include fashion shows, exhibitions, workshops and talks, from the UK’s biggest fashion industry figures. Tickets to this panel event will be available on the Leeds International Festival website, from January 2018.
