Los Angeles - UPI

VH1 says it has ordered a docu-series called "Hollywood Exes" starring Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, Mayte Garcia and Andrea Kelly. The women are the ex-wives of actor Eddie Murphy, former baseball player Jose Conseco, actor Will Smith, pop star Prince and singer R. Kelly respectively. "These extraordinarily strong women adjusted to and endured a lot while their ex-spouses won fame and fortune defining pop culture for that moment," Jeff Olde, VH1's executive vice president of original programming and production, said in a statement Wednesday. "Now these women must reinvent themselves again, stepping out of the long shadows cast by their famous husbands and supporting each other as they define the next stage of their lives -- this time on their own terms." The 10-episode series is to premiere this summer.
