Lip Sync Battle has been renewed for a 20-episode second season, Spike TV announced.
"Lip Sync Battle is a television and viral rock star for Spike," Kevin Kay, the cable television network's president, said in a statement Wednesday. "We are thrilled to be renewing Lip Sync Battle whose success is a direct result of the brilliance and creativity of our producers, the brave performers and, of course, the coolest new duo on television: LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen."
Among the Season 1 competitors have been Jimmy Fallon, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Dwayne Johnson, Anna Kendrick and John Krasinski. Mike Tyson and Terry Crews will face off on Thursday's edition of the show.
The second season is to premiere in 2016.
