Prominent Egyptian actor Nour El Sharif is finalizing preparations to begin filming the first scenes of his new television drama “Arfat Bahr” (Men at sea), which is scheduled to air during the Ramadan season of 2012. Nour has also completed choosing most of cast with the assistance of the drama makers. Scenarist Mohammad Al Masfati has completed writing the thirty episodes and the stars that will take part in the drama are Ahmad Buday and Futooh Ahmad. The leading female role has not yet been finalized, and the two actresses Dalal Abd Al Aziz and Hala Sidqi have both been nominated for the role. Direction is by Ahmad Midhat, who will be encountering his first television drama direction experience. According to the London based Elaph, Nour and director Ahmad Midhat have held countless meetings in the recent period to decide on filming locations that are most suitable for the drama, in addition to choosing new faces to star in the drama. It is revealed that the drama will introduce 20 new actors.
