Egyptian actress Nelly Karim has told Arabstoday she still does not know why "Zat" (Self) was removed from the this Ramadan's schedule. "I was quite angry to be honest," she said. In an Arabstoday exclusive, Nelly said: “The news about the series’ not being broadcast surprised me last Monday while I was in the studio. I was astonished and tried to get an explanation but I couldn't as I was busy shooting at the time.” She added: “What astonished me was that we already finished a big part of the series, and only a few shots were left to take. Despite the decision to delay the screening, I’m not sad and we will continue shooting as scheduled, but until this moment I don’t know whether the series will be broadcast after Ramadan or postponed to Ramadan 2013.” "Zat" (Self) stars Nelly Karim, Basem Samra, Nahed El Sebaie, Entisar, and Hany Adel. It is written by Maryam Naoum, and directed by Kamela Abu Zekry.
