Kris Jenner to appear on 'The Mindy Project'

Kris Jenner will guest star on The Mindy Project.
The 59-year-old reality star is confirmed to appear on an upcoming episode of the Fox comedy. Series star Mindy Kaling announced the news Monday on Instagram, writing, "Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best friends? @krisjenner #comingsoon #themindyproject."
"She's playing herself," a source revealed of Jenner to Us Weekly. "She shows up at the grand opening of Mindy's fertility clinic and gives Mindy advice about womanhood."
Kaling teased a special appearance to E! News in January, saying, "We have a guest star coming up this spring that I think is the single biggest, most exciting guest star we've ever had." Her character, Mindy Lahiri, previously declared a signed photo of Jenner her most prized possession.
The Mindy Project is in the midst of a third season, and airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET. The comedy follows OB/GYN Mindy Lahiri in her personal and professional life, and co-stars Chris Messina as Danny Castellano, Ed Weeks as Jeremy Reed and Ike Barinholtz as Morgan Tookers.
