Actor James Brolin will guest star on an upcoming episode of the U.S. sitcom "Community," NBC announced. Brolin will play William Winger, the estranged father of Joel McHale's character, Jeff, the network said in a release Tuesday. Brolin's episode, "Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations," is scheduled to air during Season 4, which is to start Oct. 19. An accomplished actor, director and producer for nearly five decades, Brolin is well-known to audiences for his work on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D.," "Hotel," "Pensacola: Wings of Gold" and "The Reagans." He has also appeared as a guest star on "Law & Order: SVU," "Psych" and "Lost City Raiders." br /
