Peters portrayed Tate Langdon on season one of the FX series, Murder House, and went on to play Kit Walker on Asylum, Kyle Spencer on Coven and Jimmy Darling on Freak Show.
Fellow alums Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Matt Bomer will also star on season five. Jessica Lange will not return, but newcomers Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson have joined the program.
