In the running for Outstanding Musical are "Bonnie & Clyde," "Death Takes a Holiday," "Leap of Faith," "Newsies the Musical," "Nice Work If You Can Get It," "Once" and "Queen of the Mist." Shortlisted for Outstanding Revival of a Play are "A Little Journey," "Death of a Salesman," "Edward Albee's The Lady from Dubuque," "Gore Vidal's The Best Man," "Lost in Yonkers" and "Richard III." The nominees for Outstanding Revival of a Musical are "Carrie," "Evita," "Follies," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" and "The Threepenny Opera." Up for Outstanding Actor in a Play are James Corden for "One Man, Two Guvnors," Hugh Dancy for "Venus in Fur," Claybourne Elder for "One Arm," Santino Fontana for "Sons of the Prophet," Joseph Franchini for "The Navigator," Philip Seymour Hoffman for "Death of a Salesman" and Kevin Spacey for "Richard III." Vying for Outstanding Actress in a Play are Tracie Bennett for "End of the Rainbow," Sanaa Lathan for "By the Way, Meet Vera Stark," Linda Lavin for "The Lyons," Jennifer Lim for "Chinglish," Kim Martin-Cotten for "A Moon for the Misbegotten," Carey Mulligan for "Through a Glass Darkly" and Joely Richardson for "Side Effects." Nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Musical are Danny Burstein for "Follies," Kevin Earley for "Death Takes a Holiday," Raul Esparza for "Leap of Faith," Jeremy Jordan for "Newsies the Musical," Norm Lewis for "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" and Ricky Martin for "Evita." Shortlisted for Outstanding Actress in a Musical are Miche Braden for "The DeviI's Music: The Life & Blues of Bessie Smith," Jan Maxwell for "Follies," Audra McDonald for "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess," Kelli O'Hara for "Nice Work If You Can Get It," Bernadette Peters for "Follies" and Molly Ranson for "Carrie." The winners of the 57th annual Drama Desk Awards are to be announced at a ceremony June 3 at The Town Hall in Manhattan.
