Los Angeles - UPI

Actress Mayim Bialik said via Twitter she will keep all her fingers after TMZ reported one digit was nearly severed in a car crash. Bialik, 36, is best known for her work on the TV sitcoms "Blossom" and "The Big Bang Theory." TMZ said she was traveling alone Wednesday in Los Angeles when her white Volvo was struck in an intersection by another vehicle carrying tourists from Chile. She was taken to an undisclosed hospital where she was treated for her injuries. Her representative confirmed to UsMagazine.com in a statement Wednesday Bialik was in "a minor car accident." "She is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow. She thanks everyone for their concern," the publicist said. Bialik later dictated a tweet to her husband, Michael Stone, so she could keep her fans up to date on her condition, UsMagazine.com said. "(Husband typing) In pain, but will keep all my fingers," she tweeted Wednesday. "If you wanna see pre-accident me, watch The Soup tonight. LOL
