Veteran Egyptian actor Adel Iman has said he is delighted at praise for his series “Ferqat Naji Atallah” (Naji Atallah Squad) which was broadcast previous Ramadan, stating that he carried a valuable message to new generations to let them know the problems of Arab counties. Adel said in a statement to Arabstoday: “I monitored through this series the bad situations in Lebanon, Iraq and Somalia, that its people suffer from starvation. The scene in the last episode made audiences cry, when a chile was running after the bus that I was on with my team, and then pointed to his mouth because he was hungry. I gave him some money which was not enough for his food requirements, and this reflects his daily suffering." He added “I wish that my message is delivered to the Egyptian youth, who must realise what is happening around us, although I wanted to highlight specific problems. I hope that I succeed in doing that.” “Ferqat Naji Atallah” stars Adel Imam, Anoshka, Nedal al-Shafeay, Ahmed al-Saadany, Ahmed al-Tohamy, Sanaa Youssif and Mahmoud al-Bezaw. The series is written by Youssif Maaty and directed by Ramy Imam.
