Russia’s national football team has climbed to the 41st place from the 46th position in FIFA’s updated rating published on the world football organization’s website on Thursday.
In October, Russia’s national football squad played two UEFA Nations League matches, concluding its home game against Sweden in a goalless draw and beating Turkey 2:0. The Russian national football team has scored 1,433 points in FIFA’s updated rating.
Belgium tops FIFA’s ranking with 1,733 points, followed by France (1.732). Brazil comes third (1,669 points).
In November, the Russian national football team will play a friendly match with Germany (November 15) and the concluding game of the UEFA Nations League with Sweden (November 20).
