An air strike killed 11 civilians and wounded eight others in the Huthi rebel stronghold of Saada in northern Yemen on Wednesday, a tribal chief said.
The tribal leader, who was speaking to AFP on condition of anonymity, said the raid was carried out by the Saudi-led coalition that has been fighting the Iran-backed Huthis since March 2015.
The pro-Huthi Al-Masirah television channel gave the same death toll and added that women and children were among those killed. It said 19 were wounded.
