After the recent harsh criticism prominent Egyptian actor Nour El Shareef was attacked with due to allegations  accusing him of comparing Syrian President Bashar Al Asad to the late Egyptian President Jamal Abd Al Naser, the actor decided to break his silence and speak out. Nour strongly denied the rumor and stressed he would never make such an absurd comparison. Nour said to the Egyptian daily Al Masri Al Youm, Nour stated that all the allegations made against him are not truth and if anyone has any recorded evidence of him making such a statement as comparing the great Egyptian late President to the current Syrian President then they should publicly air it for everyone to hear. The actor stated that he respects the Syrian people and their right for freedom and prays that their revolution against the government of Al Asad is a successful one. He also called on the Syrian press to truthfully and correctly portray events without fabricating facts. Recently, the Syrian Radio and Television Commission released a report stating that Nour said that he considers Syrian President Al Asad is an exact replica to late Egyptian President Abd Al Naser, who will be forever loved and remembered for his actions. It was added that Nour intends on taking part in demonstration and raise the flags of Syria and Egypt side by side in addition to raising the pictures of Al Asad and Abd Al Naser.
