Egyptian film actor Mohamed Saad has denied rumours that he played slain Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi role in a new comic TV series set for Ramadan 2012. “I’m not going to play Gaddafi's role at all, and his tragic end is enough; I really have no idea about this project, and I have never talked about such a thing,” Saad said. He added that he was preparing for a TV series, but it was postponed due to the current events in Egypt. He confirmed that the work will be resumed after the parliamentary and presidential elections. Saad also expressed deep sadness, because of the current events in Egypt, hoping to find solutions for all Egyptians' problems. He called for the Egyptian people to be patient and accept other opinions. The last movie of the Egyptian comedian was “Tik Tik Boom”, which was released in Eid Al-Fitr season, with Tunisian actress Dorra.
