Cairo - Khaled Farag

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe has waived her fee for an upcoming concert promoting tourism in Egypt in Abu Dhabi. The gig is being run in collaboration with publishers al-Gomhouriya’s “You Light Up Egypt” campaign. Campaign press officer Kadri al-Haggar said: “Wehbe refused her fee for the concert out of love for Egypt and gratitude for the country that launched her career.” “I could never turn Egypt down, this is my duty,” al-Haggar quoted Wehbe as saying.
