Cairo - Khaled Ali

Egyptian actor and producer Mohammed el-Shakankiri has revealed he was unaware the credits for new series In The Blink Of An Eye had been changed when the drama was shown on MBC Masr. The change meant Angham’s name appeared instead of Dalia el-Behiri’s. El-Shakankiri said his partner, Amr Makeen, may have been responsible for the switch. Speaking exclusively to Arabstoday, el-Shakankiri said: "I was surprised that the title sequence was changed again, even though the contracts say Dalia el-Behiri's name must come first, followed by Angham's.” “This is in direct violation of the show’s contracts, so I’m expressing my solidarity with Dalia in whichever measures she decides to take,” he said. In the Blink of an Eye was written by Fedaa el-Shandawili and directed by Sameeh el-Nakkash.
